Integrate Sendsteps with Microsoft Teams (BETA)

Sendsteps Team intergration (BETA) is only available on request, Send a mail to support@sendsteps.com to be admitted to the BETA team.


Adding Sendsteps to your Microsoft Teams meeting allows your audience to submit and questions, Multiple choice questions of play a quiz 
directly in the Teams meeting window during your call.

Important:
At the moment, only the meeting organizer can add Sendseps to Microsoft Teams meeting and both the organizer and the attendees (within the same organization) need to use the native Microsoft Teams desktop app.
This integration is available in all our plans.
If you don’t see Sendsteps among the apps, please contact your IT department as there might be restrictions in place and Sendsteps app needs to be whitelisted.


Add Sendsteps to your Teams meeting

 

Using Microsoft Teams calendar


Before you can add Sendsteps to your meeting, please first schedule the meeting, invite at least one participant to it and then hit Save. Afterwards, open the meeting by clicking Edit.

You can then add Sendsteps to your meeting:

1. Click the button in the menu bar and choose Sendsteps
2. Log in with your Sendsteps account or sign up


3. Choose whether you wish to create a new Sendsteps or use an already existing one

Prepare your meeting


You can use your existing Sendsteps from web.sendsteps.com, you can also create new sendsteps via teams

In Teams we currently support 3 of our question types.

  1. Quiz
  2. Multiple Choose
  3. Open Ended

In the meeting

Participant view:

If you’ve added Sendsteps to your Teams meeting, the audience will automatically see it right next to the video call. The presenter panel is visible only to you (the presenter).
During the meeting, Sendsteps is visible for participants directly in the window during your call.
The participants can interact with it without the need to switch the windows or apps.
This is how the integration works for your participants:
  1. Click on the Sendsteps Icon 
  2. Confirm/change your name
  3. Answer the questions presented to you by the presenter

Presenter view in meeting:

  1. Click on the Sendsteps Icon  
  2. Select or make your Sendsteps
  3. Ask the participants to click on the Sendsteps icon in this meeting to participate
  4. Ask your participants questions
